Showing the love of God to those in need

Our mission is to preach the Word of God and show his love to those in need. 2 Peter 3:9 He doesn’t want anyone to perish.

Changing the world is possible. Showing the love to those in need. Leaving a legacy of love behind us.

Our leadership brings years of experience to bear on the greatest challenge of our time. During these times we need God now more than ever before. We’re results driven, with a proven record of previous successes.

When our team was in Texas for two disaster relief trips in 2021 from the freeze, we had asked for donations to be collected. God overflowed blessings for the foster care/orphanage. Four plus truckloads came in to bless the children.

God knew we would need encouragement after coming back from Houston where 200 perished. An unprescended freeze. It was a tremendous answer to prayer to come back to so much to bless so many children at the Elizabeth Murphey School in Dover, DE.

Veteran Support

Hope In Him wants all veterans, first responders and medical personnel, to know they are appreciated. Our support group is there to provide support for those who served and others who currently serve our nation and community. PTSD is very real and a band of brothers is there who understand personally. Come out and rap with fellow vets, first responders who served and are currently serving our country.

Hope Vets is partnering with Faith Harvest Fellowship on 1101 East Delaware Ave New Castle De for our second annual Hope Veterans Day Luncheon on Nov 10th at 10: 30 Service followed by 12:30 Lunch. There will be hundreds of dollars of door prizes for veterans who served. Chicken, green beans, salad and dessert donated by Feby’s Fishery. Bring your family we hope to see you there.

Recovery Support

We are there for those in recovery. God can heal, renew and restore anyone. Lets stop the stigma and end the overdose together as we come together to support those dealing with addiction. In this photo we were delivering several donated pairs of designer jeans to a rehab center. Hope In Him delivers many clothes and food to those in recovery. When God is allowed in the face of recovery is bright.

The Shepards Office dropping off every type of Olive Garden soup & salad to feed 50. God restores those in recovery.

Feeling blessed at a recovery awareness picnic.

A giveaway in Baltimore to bless many struggling with addiction.

We headed to Rolling Fork, Mississipi with thousands of pounds of donated relief supplies after 26 perished from a level 5 tornado prior to Easter. Receiving Easter baskets and supplies. The bottom left photo is the devastation from the tornado. Then a photo of a church partner loading 2000 lbs of food. It’s never about the things its about showing the love of God to the survivors.

Hope In Him delivering for the first time a large amount of Narcan to Pastor Al Robinson in Buffalo after 40 froze in Buffalo at Christmas time. Along with clothes and food. Spirit of Truth Church where 150 were sheltered in place to spare their lives from a power outage after 6 ft of snow fell in a very short period of time. God used that little church to save so many. It was the only place with power for 10 blocks. With God a small group of people can make a lasting impact.

Lahaina, Hawaii, where 3000 homes burnt to the ground and 114 people perished in the worst wildfire to ever strike the United States. It was the toughest disaster relief we had done to date with the tremendous devastation. We prayed with one woman who had lost 10 including her nephew who was to be married within a month. Another lost his incoming 7 year old quarterback for Pop Warner football. It was truly a humbling time. Only God can give strength and restore joy after such loss.

The lower left photo was our most recent effort to Brevard North Carolina. Hurricane Helene caused massive devastation and over 100 people perished. Our 9 hour trip took 14 hours as bridges and roads were destroyed by 30 inches of rain on already soaked mountains from a historic “1000 year rains” just three weeks before. The photo below is the Destiny Church pastor and youth group who received the life saving supplies to bless the survivors.

Please see our Needs List for Hurricane Helene Angel Tree Disaster Relief/Recovery on the next page. May God bless those who have had such significant loss with courage, peace and comfort.

CHRISTMAS ANGEL PROGRAM

One month ago Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage & destruction to over 100,000 homes in the Asheville North Carolina area. In 2023, Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry was able to provide parents in need with toys and gifts for nearly 1,300 children. This year, due to Hurricane Helene, they are anticipating an exponential increase in requests for Christmas assistance and are planning for 3000+ children in hurricane-plagued North Carolina.

The items below are ones that were most requested on the 2023 children’s wish lists and were needed every day in the Christmas Shop (our hub for gift collection and distribution) throughout the program. Can you help us bring light and joy to these precious children? Hope In Him will be taking the toys and other supplies the week of Thanksgiving for our 4th disaster relief trip to the area. May God bless you and yours.
